Description: Johnson City UGB was originally developed from hard copy tax map parcel information and a hand drawn boundary on a Johnson City/Washington County regional map provided by the GIS Division to Jim Moody, Planning Dept. The boundary was then edited several times over several months and meetings until it was approved and adopted in June 2000, then in Aug 2004 by the State.It is not known when Jonesborough's UGB or Washington County PGA was approved although Ann Howland assisted them and built the Washington County PGA and Jonesborough UGB boundaries. The Elizabethton UGB was added from their web page in Aug, 2016. Kingsport UGB obtained by request from Kingsport GIS.
